Hey Ya'll,
Welcome to my little corner of the blogosphere! So glad to have you.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Betsy and I'm married to my high school sweet heart, Matt or MLW as I call him. We have two precious corigs Ernie and Maybe. One is fat and one is small but we absolutely adore both of them. We moved from Columbia, SC to Charleston, SC about 3 1/2 years ago so MLW could follow his dream to become a pastry chef. He works for a group of fancy restaurants dowtown and let me tell you, the hubs can cook. Yum!
MLW's dream has always been in the kitchen and mine has always been pretty things. I had thought I wanted to be a wedding planner, but ended up working at a bridal shop slinging wedding dresses right out of college. Sometimes you just end up in the right spot, right? I couldn't love my day job anymore. I'm basically an eternal bride and get to experience those crazy roller coster of awesome emotions with each bride that I work with. When I planned my own wedding back in 2011 with the help of some crazy talented ladies, I realized that I am also really into home decor and styling. Our first rental house became my canvas and I went nuts!
We just purchaed our first home this past July and thats where this blog begins. After years of doing everything I can to a space but paint the walls and rip things apart I can finally do it all. And I want to share it with ya'll! So I hope you enjoy and stick around to follow me on this crazy journey called homeownership!
